Vizslas are born with ‘tiger’ stripes, which disappear after a few days – just like Weimaraners.
We have a number of breeders nationwide in South Africa who subscribe to the club’s ethical breeding standards, which include health screens for parents, not breeding mom more than once a year, very low inbreeding coefficient and only using dogs who conform to the breed standard.
We also keep a centralised waiting list for puppies. Puppies are currently mostly bred in Gauteng and the Western Cape. We have been able to catch up with the waiting list and waiting time should not be too long.
If you are ready to add a little Vizsla to your family, please complete the Puppy enquiry form. We will be in touch to update you on when the next litter (hopefully in your area) is expected.
